The self proclaimed biggest midget in the game [Lady Sovereign] came rolling into town last night and performed at the world famous El Rey theatre in Los Angeles and I had the good fortune of being there.

Lady Sov’s blurbs:

When it comes to ingenuity, Myspace user “awenit” has some major game… yeah, yeah, yeah, you’re probably saying to yourself, what’s the big deal, I’ve seen tons of people whoring out their Myspace page for cash — true, but how many of them have done it being totally honest?

I just spent the last hour trolling through Myspace trying to find subject matter for future posts — sometimes you get lucky and sometimes you don’t, but tonight was one of those lucky nights.

The Myspace “Myplanet” profile page promotes greener living and has a lot of great links to other green-centric profiles.

My Planet blurbs:

They promptly dropped bricks into their toilets, and reduced water waste in their households by more than a third. If you have a toilet, and it is not a ULF, you can easily find one.

The Burrito Project in under two years has grown from a couple of people on bikes passing out some burritos to feed the hungry to several hundred volunteers in multiple chapters all over the United States.

The Los Angeles chapter was awarded the very first Myspace Impact Award last Tuesday, and I can’t think of a better group of people that deserve it.
